I love, love, love, LOVE this charming little novella It was the most darling thing ever, featuring a tender hearted and selfless heroine, and a shy, quiet and super kind hero They were such a refreshing couple, and I loved the hero especially because he was calm, quiet and awkward around the heroine, and it was so sweet I really enjoyed reading this one read in one sitting late at night and I even found myself reading slowly at the end because I didn t want it to end so soon Do you know what this couple does at the end THEY SIT DOWN AND TALK THINGS OUT I could hardly believe it For all the times I found myself wishing the H h would just TALK ALREADY, here is a couple that finally did it I d never read Mary Connealy before, but I m going to be a fan for life now.

What is the funniest thing that can happen to a lovely meddler Being the recipient of other people s scheming Sometimes that is just what it takes to help someone see what is right in front of them And Hannah Taylor will learn how to be happy with a little help from the women of her town. This was such a sweet novella And the protagonists were so cute Exactly what you need if you are in the mood for a quick, romantic read I especially liked Mark, the hero, who was so shy and scared of revealing his feelings to Hannah that risked to lose her Then why did I like him so much Because he was terribly romantic and endearing and I loved that he kept blushing every time he was too embarrassed Lots of delightful moments and a beautiful ending where everything is explained and both Hannah and Mark realize what true love is.Recommended for all the romantic readers around the world Note This is the fourth book in the collection A Match Made in Texas and I would suggest whoever is interested in reading this one to pick up the other books of the series first Not only because they are lovely, but also because you may want to know the other characters stories that are mentioned in this novella.

This is such a sweet story Like all of Mary Connealy s books, I expected witty rapport, love that almost never takes the easy way in coming, and faith that grows throughout the story I wasn t disappointed I just wish it were longer Mary did an exceptional job of getting the point of the story across without seeming rushed and I know that s got to be hard to do in a novella

This might be my favorite of the series, although all four were quite entertaining I loved how Mary Connealy interweaved the other author s books, bringing a final epilogue to all the stories without slowing down her own tale And I loved how she brought her own hero and heroine together in spite of themselves and their own views of their shortcomings A delightful set of books perfect for historical romance lovers and a dreary day.

2.5 stars. This final novella in the A Match Made in Texas novella collection was probably my least favorite of the four novellas in the collection I really didn t see this coming as I really enjoy Mary Connealy s books, and would consider her one of my favorite authors I think the main factor that lead to this and the 2.5 rating was the relationship between Hannah and Marcus It seemed way too rushed, and while in some way or another, all novellas will be rushed I felt like this one had so much opportunity for a better developed relationship that wasn t taken Literally the characters had lived in the same town for years, but hardly ever spoke Marcus had had a crush on Hannah for several years, but due to his extremely shy personality, he never spoke to her To make a long story short they end up getting married within a day of truly ever conversing, and even then it was completely forced by Hannah s father, with no real proposal or mention of love until after the wedding While I did really enjoy this novella, I just didn t like the way the relationship went, so that s why I m giving this book 2.5 stars, which according to Good Reads means that it was okay which is the way I felt about this novella.

Oh the bumbling hero I just love about everything that comes from the pen of Mary Connealy and this short story counts right up there Who doesn t love a schoolteacher romance While in reading other stories I had already come to love tree character but through her story I was able to cheer for her heart and watch things unfold as my pages turned Excellent shorter read I read this one via an eBook from Overdrive.

Weird Marcus Whitfield was cute and all in the beginning, I loved how he was super shy to talk to her and stuff but as the book progressed it just got weird He seemed obsessed with her, not in love and there is a big difference view spoiler When they were forced to get married and then had that whole I never liked you until now talk, this is the icing on the cake What hide spoiler

This was a cute novella, not so much about the handsome cowboy in the west, but a shy banker s son who just can t bring himself to hardly even talk to the girl he dreams of having That s when the women of the town come to his rescue without his knowing and bring him into a hilarious setup with the girl of his dreams It is a cute story that will leave you smiling that even the not so athletic and strong and temperamental cowboy, but the tall, thin, intelligent, shy banker s son can find love in the west as well.
